Welcome to Heart's Desire Farm
We are located in the beautiful hills of north central West Virginia. Situated on a hilltop graced with spectacular sunrises and sunsets, surrounded by farmland. Driving on Route 79 North you can see our farm and our herd of alpacas enjoying the temperate climate.
West Virginia is rich in agriculture, history and Appalachian culture, and has some of the best ski resorts and white water rafting in the country. It is a Wild and Wonderful place to visit. In February of 2000, Heart's Desire Farm purchased the Blue Ribbon Herd of one of the largest and oldest Alpaca ranches in the United States, Northwest Alpacas. We are excited to have the privilege of carrying on the many years of breeding integrity that produced this top of the line herd. Planned breeding has been managed to insure that we maintain full Accoyo bloodlines. Heart's Desire Farm is home to over 380 of the finest alpacas in the country. Today we are among some of the largest farms east of the Mississippi and definitely the largest and most experienced farm in West Virginia. We offer breeding stock from top Accoyo, Peruvian and Bolivian bloodlines. Raising alpacas can be a welcome change of pace to today's often stressful and hectic lifestyle.
