Our Goals

Breeding

We have made a commitment to the Alpaca Industry in purchasing the highest quality animals and in turn it is our goal to continue the high breeding standards set before us and breed only those alpacas that will produce like-caliber or better animals. We will not sacrifice quality for quantity.

We are breeding for correct conformation and uniform fiber that is low in micron and high in volume. This has been the goal of Don Julio Barreda for the last 50 years with his Accoyo herd in Peru. We will strive to move forward in that direction.

Temperment

Alpacas with attitude! A good one that is. Alpacas are easily trained and it is important to us to make the most of this. We want you to enjoy your alpacas and be able to manage them easily for routine care and for fun. We are committed to spending hands-on time daily to ensure our alpacas are calm and mind their manners!

Service

We are full service breeders. We are committed to the new breeder and will provide the knowledge and encouragement necessary for a successful start and continuing support as long as needed.

Integrity

Honesty and Integrity. We wouldn't want to do business any other way. We know what it is like being new to Alpacas and how many questions we asked! We will be honest with our answers and if we don't have one, we will find someone who does. The Alpaca community was generous with us in sharing information and welcoming us into the wonderful world of Alpacas. We want to extend the same to others. We believe if something good happens for one breeder, it happens for all of us.
