![]() ACCOYO'S LEON |
Leon was born at the Accoyo Ranch, home of Don Julio Barreda. His ancestors have been rigorously selected since 1946. Peruvian Leon is a striking dark fawn color of perfect uniformity. His fleece measures 19.9 micron at three years of age. His head is perfectly balanced and his proud presence is breathtaking. We look for Leon to produce many generations of beautifully colored alpacas with high quality Peruvian fleece characteristics. Visit the
farm and see the beautifully colored chocolate brown, rose gray, and honey fawn cria that Leon is proudly producing.
Leon has also produced a black 3/4 Accoyo, full Peruvian daughter, out of a
white Felix daughter. Stud Fee: $3,000 |
![]() ACCOYO's FELIX |
This magnificent animal is from the plantel herd of Accoyo. His light fawn fleece measures 19.3 microns with a standard deviation of 4.1 microns. His fiber is very dense with a highly crimped and uniform lock structure. His fleece weighed 13 pounds, 7 ounces when shorn after 1 year's growth. Felix's proud bearing, regal head, and uniform honey fawn fleece are not often found on any Alpaca anywhere in the world.
Felix has thrown 16 colors including greys and blacks.

![]() ACCOYO'S EL MOUSTACHIO | El Moustachio spent the first five years of his life in the plantel herd of Accoyo. Don Julio named him Gogol after a strong character in a Russian novel. He has sired many cria who still reside at Accoyo. His dense white fiber measures 21.5 microns after being shorn many times. When El Moustachio was shorn in Tacna, before leaving Peru for the United States, his fleece weighed twelve pounds -- more than any other macho in the 1995 import. This magnificent male captured Mike's heart the minute he first saw him. His look is unmistakably Accoyo in the tradition of Shere Kahn. Stud Fee: $3,000 |
| MISTER ANTONIO | One of Hemingway's finest sons, with a micron count of 18.3, standard deviation of 3.90, and a coefficient of variation 21.3. Won blues at Estes Park, at CABA and the AOBA national show in a class of 24. Very crimpy, well locked, high luster fleece. A big bold
white male. We now proudly co-own Mister Antonio with Magical Farms Stud Fee: $3,000 |
